Job Summary
Provide person-centered support to participants with disabilities in community and home settings. Build strong relationships with participants and families; help develop life skills such as communication, socialization, and self-help; plan engaging, age-appropriate community activities; collaborate with families and professionals to achieve participant goals; document progress using the iCareManager App in a timely manner; promote participant independence while honoring their choices. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma, 100+ hours of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with <=3 points, reliable transportation, and access to a smartphone; able to lift up to 70 lbs. Flexible hours with part-time and full-time opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a high school diploma
- 100+ hours of experience working with people with disabilities
- A valid driver's license (no more than 3 points) and reliable transportation
- A smartphone capable of running required apps
- Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs
- Comfort working in community and participant home settings
