Job Summary
Lead the eCommerce process for receiving customer online orders, ensuring items are picked, bagged, and stored at proper temperatures for timely pick-up. Review customer comments and special instructions to verify product selection, handle substitutions, and resolve issues like shortages or damages immediately. Scan order products, confirm totals for pound-priced items, and maintain strict quality control during selection and packing to minimize damage to perishables and delicate goods. Report all customer complaints and problems to store management while implementing company service programs to achieve positive satisfaction. Follow all PPE, safety, food safety, and cleaning guidelines while providing focused customer service. Work a flexible schedule based on department needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of retail or related experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to develop knowledge of products and store layout for efficient picking procedures
- Proficient in MS office applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the department
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
