Job Summary
Personal Shopper at FAO Schwarz Flagship Store responsible for delivering a world-class shopping experience by advising on products, processing purchases, and leveraging omnichannel offerings to grow a VIP client book. Cultivates authentic guest relationships, maintains brand standards, supports VIP events, and collaborates with the Director of VIP Sales & Events to optimize appointments and guest satisfaction. Requires strong communication, guest-first mentality, product knowledge, and the ability to drive KPIs in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in a Personal Shopping role within a fast-paced premium retail or experience-based environment
- Outgoing and engaging personality capable of building genuine rapport with guests
- Excellent business acumen and ability to spot business trends and opportunities to improve performance
- Experience with retail POS and CRM systems a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as high-level attention to detail
- Strong IT skills
- Flexible availability in line with a Flagship Retail environment across days, evenings and weekends
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time
