Personal Property Appraiser performs technical work in measuring, classifying, gathering data, recording and calculating values for personal property; identifies and lists property for renditions, values items per guidelines, conducts desk and field auditing for statutory compliance; provides courteous service to taxpayers; duties include assisting taxpayers with ad valorem filings, preparing notices and supporting hearings on appeals; requires strong data collection, analytical and public-facing skills, proficiency with office software and GIS, and the ability to work in an in-office public-service environment in Junction City, KS.
