Job Summary
Rural Mutual Insurance is hiring a detail-oriented Personal Lines Underwriter to evaluate risk and make underwriting decisions for Homeowners and Personal Auto policies. This hybrid role requires 2+ years of experience and an Associate degree.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working in an insurance underwriter role, preferably in personal lines.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong team player.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and multitask.
- Demonstrated proficient personal computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- Additional education in insurance or other industry-related coursework is preferred.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Hmong, etc.) are a plus.
