Job Summary
Lead Personal Lines Sales Team to oversee a book of business, provide day-to-day leadership, monitor performance, conduct quarterly one-on-one discussions, develop professional development plans for staff, oversee workflows, manage client service levels, and collaborate with the VP of Personal Lines to meet agency objectives. Act as the agency point of contact for personal lines carriers, communicate carrier changes to the team, ensure resources to perform effectively, and cultivate deep understanding of customer needs while applying extensive knowledge of insurance coverages and markets. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent insurance-industry experience, and an active insurance license; five years of personal/commercial insurance service experience with management experience preferred. Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team and work both collaboratively and independently.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent education and work experience in the personal/commercial insurance industry is required
- Proficiency in utilizing a desktop or laptop computer, calculator, agency management system, and all Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Maintain insurance license as required by the appropriate State Department of Insurance and Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC
