Job Summary
In-office Personal Lines Customer Service Representative role handling inbound calls and walk-ins, identifying customer needs, and routing requests. Responsible for binder requests,payments and billing questions, mortgagee changes, insurance verifications, ID cards and document requests, and accurate documentation of every call/transaction. Works closely with Account Managers and Producers to keep workflows moving and ensure timely service. Emphasis on strong phone communication, multitasking in a high-volume environment, and willingness to learn new software; prior insurance experience is a plus and training is provided. Bilingual ability (Spanish/Portuguese) is a plus. Location-based in Fall River or Swansea, MA; full-time, in-office, nonexempt.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (especially on the phone)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
- Good judgement – knowing when to resolve a call and when to escalate
- Comfort using computer systems and learning new software
- Prior insurance experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
- Bilingual: Spanish/Portuguese a plus
