Job Summary
Personal Lines Account Manager responsible for managing a mid-market personal lines book, marketing clients to carriers, responding to inquiries about coverage and eligibility, ensuring policy accuracy (endorsements, EOIs, audits), and maintaining organized files. Collaborates with sales producer and team on client service, marketing, and renewals; acts as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve service issues, negotiate with underwriters, and troubleshoot billing/claims. Requires understanding of client objectives, ability to compare plans for suitability, and opportunities to develop new business from existing accounts. Must leverage strong communication skills, cross-functional teamwork, and knowledge of insurance products; typically supported by a Property & Casualty License and familiarity with tools like AMS/Epic. Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in downtown San Antonio after onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- College degree strongly preferred
- Few years of experience in an insurance Account Management role or Client Service Associate role (brokerage experience preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and AMS (Epic preferred)
- Property & Casualty License or willingness to obtain
