Job Summary
Manage an assigned book of business as the primary client relationship manager, handling inquiries regarding insurance coverages, policy changes, and general questions. Process billing, service, and endorsement requests while acting as the liaison between customers and carriers to ensure mutually beneficial relationships. Review loss information, obtain updated data, and negotiate renewal pricing for the assigned book of business. Maintain knowledge of all company systems and offerings. This in-office role requires a High School graduate with 3+ years of P&C insurance experience. Benefits include company-paid life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, and generous PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School degree
- 3+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales in the p&c insurance industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate via phone or email
- Superior listening skills and ability to probe customer needs and opportunities through question-based selling and retention techniques
- Self-directed with good decision making and time management skills
- Proficient PC skills
- knowledge of insurance software including AMS360
- This is an in-office position
- This position will report to our agency located in either Barrington, RI or Middletown, RI
