Job Summary

Process policy changes and endorsements, update agency and carrier management systems, and enter policy details for non-downloaded accounts. Handle renewal processing by filing, labeling, comparing policies, and identifying discrepancies for review. Follow up with insurance carriers on claim status and respond to requests for mortgagee and lender proof of insurance. Prepare materials for meetings, maintain electronic files, and manage assigned workflows within the agency management system. Assist Account Managers with day-to-day servicing activities and special projects while maintaining high standards for accuracy and timely completion.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Current and valid California Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Ability to obtain a California Property & Casualty Insurance License within six (6) months of hire
  • Ability and willingness to attain industry insurance designations or certifications within eighteen (18) months of hire
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and client accounts simultaneously
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Account Managers, insurance carriers, and other team members
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in conducting and participating in virtual meetings using Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Current knowledge of carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and agency procedures
  • Ability to maintain all continuing education requirements necessary to keep the Property & Casualty license in good standing

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least one (1) year of experience in the insurance industry in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role
  • Experience in a similar professional services environment
  • Experience with AMS360, ImageRight, and other agency management systems
