Job Summary
Personal Insurance Advisor role based in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Drive ongoing client needs assessment, advise on insurance matters, and recommend solutions; handle renewals, quote new business, and write policies for existing or new clients. Conduct inquiries, respond to inquiries, prepare documentation for insurers, issue certificates, and coordinate with underwriters and adjusters. Maintain knowledge of underwriting rules and participate in training and community marketing initiatives. Requires High School or post-secondary education and typically 1 year of Personal Insurance experience with strong customer-service and communication skills; prior exposure to Epic is an asset. Emphasizes service quality, client-focused approach, multi-tasking, and collaboration within an inclusive, equal-opportunity environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education
- Minimum 1 year of Personal Insurance experience preferred
- At least 1 year in a customer service role is a strong asset
- Experience in Sales is a nice-to-have
- Exposure to Epic is an asset
- Strong customer-centric approach
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
