Job Summary
Conduct ongoing client needs assessments, advise on insurance matters, and recommend tailored coverage solutions. Quote new business through outbound calls, introductory letters, and walk-ins while retaining existing book of business. Process renewals, prepare documentation for insurers, and communicate with underwriters and adjusters regarding guidelines and policy changes. Maintain current knowledge of underwriting rules and actively participate in training and community marketing initiatives. This on-site role in Huntsville, ON, requires a 35-hour workweek from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada; a General insurance license is required or the candidate must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial licensing exam.
Required Qualifications
- Must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold a RIBO or OTL license
- Must have insurance experience
- Must have previous customer service, sales and/or call center experience
- Must have strong customer focus
- Must have demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Must have strong analytical and organizational skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment
