Job Summary
Conduct ongoing client needs assessments, recommend tailored coverage solutions, and process renewals while answering inquiries and making outbound calls to sell new business. Quote new policies through introductory letters and walk-in clients, prepare documentation for insurers, and coordinate with underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines. Maintain current knowledge of underwriting rules, participate in training initiatives, and manage account receivable activities alongside community marketing efforts. This on-site position in Grande Prairie, AB, requires a 35-hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada; an AIC General insurance license is preferred, with study required if not currently held.
Required Qualifications
- Must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam
- Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment

- Must be able to prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
- Must be able to keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
- Must be able to actively participate in training initiatives
- Must be able to process Account Receivable activities
- Must be able to participate in community marketing initiatives
- Must be able to provide guidance and assistance as requested
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Must be able to work 35 hours a week
- Must be able to work in Grande Prairie, AB (11725 - 105 Street) office

Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service, sales and/or call center experience
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold an AIC General Insurance license
