Job Summary
Lead AR Claims team for Personal Injury/Workers' Compensation. Responsible for processing and entering new cases according to department protocols, auditing open cases, researching state lien/settlement laws, ensuring HIPAA/compliance, and leveraging EHRs and Waystar Clearinghouse. Requires 2+ years of claims/billing/revenue cycle experience, strong MS Office skills, cross-department collaboration, excellent organization, and the ability to multi-task. DOE with the Team Lead title and senior responsibilities. DMV/background check may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years claims, billing, or revenue cycle experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- 1 year experience utilizing Waystar as a Clearinghouse and Denial Management Tool
- Ability to work professionally with many departments
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA rules and laws
- Ability to process and enter Personal Injury/Work Comp cases
- Audit of open cases and records review
- State law research regarding liens, settlements, and claims
- EHR proficiency
