Job Summary
Pre-Litigation Attorney responsible for evaluating personal injury claims, conducting investigations, negotiating settlements with insurers, preparing demand letters and settlement proposals, and coordinating with the litigation team to ensure smooth transitions to litigation when necessary. Requires JD, Texas license, 4+ years in personal injury law (MVA/CVA), strong negotiation and client-relations skills, and ability to manage multiple cases with rigorous ethical standards. In-person/hybrid role based in Irving, TX with additional opportunities across Texas and California markets as indicated by the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury law, with focus on motor vehicle accident (MVA) and commercial vehicle accident (CVA) cases
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent legal research skills and attention to detail
