Job Summary
Manage a pre-litigation caseload of approximately 300 cases by reviewing and drafting legal documents, including settlement demands, and negotiating settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel. Supervise case managers, track case progress, and provide legal guidance to clients while identifying potential conflicts of interest and developing strategies for successful resolution. This role requires 4+ years of experience in pre-litigation personal injury matters on the Plaintiff's side, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, and overtime available. The firm offers a supportive environment for attorneys transitioning from small firms or solo practices, featuring competitive fee splits and a referral program for generating new cases.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in pre-litigation personal injury matters on the Plaintiff's side
- Proven experience in managing a high volume of cases
- Proven experience in reviewing settlements
- Proven experience in negotiating effectively
- Proven experience in supervising legal staff
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Disciplined, organized, and process-oriented with a self-starting and results-oriented approach
- Highly motivated and driven with strong negotiation skills
