Job Summary
Litigation paralegal handles a focused Texas plaintiff personal injury docket from intake through resolution, working closely with the attorney on motor vehicle, premises liability, and complex injury matters. Responsibilities include drafting petitions, amended petitions, discovery (RFDs, RFPs, RFAs, interrogatories), discovery responses, motions, subpoenas, deposition notices, and trial pleadings under TRCP and CPRC; calendaring deadlines and managing expert designations; organizing medical records, liens, and wage-loss documentation; coordinating with treating providers, life care planners, accident reconstructionists, biomechanics, and economic experts; handling Texas e-filing, service of process, and witnessing preparation; maintaining client communication and ensuring timely updates; managing Filevine-based case data, phases, tasks, and templates; and contributing to overall docket hygiene. Qualifications requested include 5–7 years of plaintiff-side Texas PI paralegal experience, strong knowledge of Texas procedural rules, experience drafting pleadings and discovery, proficiency with Filevine (and other case management systems valued), notary commission (or willingness to become one within 90 days), and bilingual ability as a plus. The firm emphasizes modern tools, mentorship, and advancement opportunities, with a Plano-based on-site role and occasional travel within the DFW Metroplex.
