Job Summary
Manage pre-litigation personal injury files from intake through settlement preparation by monitoring clients' medical treatment and case progress. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding their claims while requesting, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining medical records and supporting documentation. Respond to insurance carrier requests and correspondence, prepare and assemble medical demand packages, and maintain accurate electronic and physical case files. Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies to keep cases moving efficiently. Assist with additional pre-litigation case management responsibilities as needed. This full-time, 100% on-site role is located in Paramus or Bloomfield, NJ. Candidates must have at least two years of personal injury law experience, with New York and New Jersey no-fault claims knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
- Strong understanding of personal injury pre-litigation procedures
- Excellent organizational and file management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems

- Experience with New York and New Jersey no-fault claims
