Job Summary
Manage and coordinate with department leadership and attorneys to administer legal and operational aspects of a personal injury caseload. Develop, implement, and supervise efficient procedures for handling critical departmental workloads, including filing cases in Federal Court, drafting motions, and preparing trial notebooks. Schedule depositions, retain experts, and organize exhibits while communicating professionally with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Maintain a professional appearance and thrive under pressure to support complex catastrophic injury matters nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Personal Injury legal experience: 2+ years
- Paralegal experience: 2+ years
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Paralegal Certification or AA in Paralegal Studies
- Experience and willingness to file cases in Federal Court
- Experience with case management and document management
- Familiarity with medical treatment
- Knowledge of Texas state and federal Rules of Civil Procedure
