Job Summary
Personal Injury Litigation Attorney responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution, ensuring consistent progress, with duties including drafting pleadings and motions, preparing cases for trial, witness preparation, evidence organization, tracking settlements and case metrics, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, collaborating with paralegals, and conducting depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances; requires strong litigation experience, organization, and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) with an active Florida license and knowledge of Florida civil procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in Florida
- Experience handling depositions, hearings, and mediations
- 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Florida civil litigation procedures, court rules, and case management practices
