Job Summary
Manage a high-volume caseload in personal injury litigation, handling all phases from pleadings through trial. Conduct depositions, draft motions, and deliver persuasive oral advocacy. Evaluate cases for potential while maintaining strong research and writing skills. This full-time in-house position requires a Texas bar member with at least five years of experience, with bilingual Spanish and workers compensation background preferred. Based in Houston, TX, you will join a national plaintiff firm representing tens of thousands of clients in civil and mass torts.
Required Qualifications
- Good standing member of the Texas bar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in all areas of personal injury law
- Knowledge and expertise in all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial
- Knowledge and experience taking and defending depositions
- Strong and persuasive oral advocacy
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent research and drafting skills
- Skilled in evaluating cases
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
