Job Summary
Manage personal injury cases from intake to resolution, reviewing and analyzing incoming medical documents while tracking deadlines and timelines. Identify files ready for settlement discussions or prepare for settlement conferences, then draft proposals and negotiate settlements with clients and the team. Prepare clients for examinations, motions, and mediations, ensuring all documents remain in order through ongoing file management with paralegals and schedulers. This role offers a large book of active files across areas including car accidents, spinal cord injuries, and wrongful death, allowing you to focus on achieving successful outcomes for victims.
Required Qualifications
- A licensed lawyer with 1-15 years of experience
- Called to the Bar and licensed to practice
- Experience handling litigation files from start to finish
- Knowledgeable in the Rules of Civil Procedure
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, initiative, and a team-oriented mindset
