Job Summary
Law Clerk for Personal Injury department involved in handling serious personal injury tort claims (falls, motor vehicle litigation) and accident benefit claims. Be part of a cohesive team with option for hybrid remote work in a technologically advanced environment. Responsibilities include file opening/closing, drafting documents/reports/correspondence, handling statutory accident benefits forms, communications with clients/adjusters/opposing counsel/agencies/experts, arranging for discoveries, and other duties as assigned. Requires 0–5+ years in litigation support, post-secondary legal education (Legal Assistant/Law Clerk/Paralegal), strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Word/Outlook, and strong client service orientation. Salary range $44,000–$57,000 with competitive benefits; in-person London, Ontario position.
Required Qualifications
- 0–5+ years’ experience supporting a litigation practice
- Post-secondary education (Legal Assistant/Law Clerk/Paralegal)
- Strong keyboarding/computer skills (Word and Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Strong client service skills
- Primafact experience would be an asset
