Job Summary
Oversee Accident Benefits & Tort files from inception to resolution by preparing Affidavit of Documents, Medical Briefs, and initial versions of Slip and Fall or Motor Vehicle Statement of Claims. Draft basic motions for adding parties and substitute service while managing scheduling, procuring materials, and communicating with clients, witnesses, and peers. Maintain effective correspondence and support legal counsel on LAT Applications and Case Conference Summaries. Requires 2 years of hands-on Personal Injury experience with a law clerk diploma. Required Qualifications
- at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Personal Injury law
- experience focusing particularly on Accident Benefits (AB) and Tort matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in preparing LAT Applications
- Proficiency in preparing Case Conference Summaries
Desired Qualifications
- holding a law clerk diploma from a recognized institution
