Job Summary
Investigate medical necessity, determine casualty, and evaluate the validity of personal injury insurance claims by monitoring case files throughout treatment. Consult with customers, other carriers, attorneys, and medical providers to secure medical information and review insurance contracts, reports, and billing documentation. Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive experience while guiding policyholders through the complicated medical aspects of auto insurance. Requires an active adjuster's license (training provided), high school diploma, and availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Located in Melville, NY, with a starting salary of $29.00 to $45.28 annually.
