Job Summary
Independent case manager for pre-litigation personal injury cases, handling caseload from intake through settlement. Responsibilities include coordinating and tracking case lifecycle, analyzing and interpreting legal documents, reviewing and summarizing medical records, overseeing medical treatment timelines and provider communications, serving as primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through treatment plans and documentation needs, drafting and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, maintaining electronic files, and managing deadlines and calendars. Requires strong communication, medical terminology proficiency, attention to detail, and ability to streamline workflow in a remote team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Personal Injury law firm
- Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Deep understanding of personal injury law, medical terminology, and treatment timelines
- Strong skills in medical record analysis and constructing injury narratives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for sensitive client interactions
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
