Job Summary
Manage a caseload, provide legal advice and representation to clients, conduct legal research, negotiate settlements, and prepare and present cases in court. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals while maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Requires admission to the New York State Bar, three or more years of experience practicing law in a personal injury firm, and fluency in English and Spanish. Trial preparation and litigation experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of law and legal procedures
- Experience in personal injury law
- Ability to provide legal advice and counsel to clients
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 3+ years of experience practicing law in a personal injury law firm
- Candidate must be fluent in English & Spanish
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with trial preparation and litigation is a plus
