Job Summary
Personal Injury Attorney needed to manage a plaintiff-focused caseload with responsibilities spanning court appearances, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, and participation in mediations/arbitrations. Responsibilities include advising clients on liability and rights, interpreting laws and rulings, conducting depositions, handling discovery, drafting motions, gathering and evaluating evidence, interviewing clients and witnesses, and staying current on legal developments through ongoing education and reading. Requires 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury trial experience, New York licensure, and availability to work full-time in-office in Mineola, NY. Strong attention to detail and commitment to effective advocacy are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of documented plaintiff personal injury trial experience
- Licensed to practice law in the state of New York
- Prior experience on the Plaintiff side with a focus on Personal Injury
- Strong attention to detail
- Availability for a 5-day workweek based in the office
