Job Summary
Assist an experienced partner through all phases of personal injury litigation, managing discovery, drafting motions, and preparing briefs. Conduct depositions, argue motions before the court, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations. Help manage an active caseload involving motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters while communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses. Gain valuable courtroom experience through trial preparation and direct exposure to courts throughout Northern New Jersey. This full-time, 100% on-site role offers meaningful mentorship and advancement opportunities within a collaborative litigation practice dedicated to exceptional client representation.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Bar license
- 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience on either the plaintiff or defense side
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working closely with a supervising partner
- Ability to travel to courthouses throughout Northern New Jersey
Desired Qualifications
- Experience drafting discovery and motions preferred
- Deposition and trial experience preferred
