Job Summary
Develop and maintain membership for Legacy's Wellness Program while performing and documenting LiveFit services for residents. Deliver tailored exercise plans and group fitness sessions to improve health and meet members' goals, ensuring all activities follow company policy under the guidance of the Rehabilitation Director. Assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership and participate in department and facility meetings. This role promotes wellness and independence among senior residents, requiring a High School diploma, relevant certification, and CPR/AED certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization
- CPR/AED Certification must be current
- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- College graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
- Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
- Previous experience with senior population desirable
