Job Summary
Develop and maintain membership for the Wellness Program while performing and documenting LiveFit services under the guidance of the Rehabilitation Director. Deliver tailored exercise plans and group fitness sessions to improve health, fitness levels, and meet members' goals for the senior resident population. Discuss, motivate, and teach fitness members to improve and maintain their strength in accordance with Legacy's program structure. Assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership and participate in department and facility meetings. Maintain efficiency standards and complete required billing and documentation. Requires current personal training or group fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization, CPR/AED certification, and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- College graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
- Current personal training or group fitness certification from a nationally recognized and accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
- CPR/AED Certification must be current
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
- Previous experience with senior population
- Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
