Job Summary
Develop and maintain the LiveFit wellness program by delivering tailored exercise plans, leading group fitness sessions, and performing documented treatments for senior residents. Discuss, motivate, and teach members to improve strength and fitness levels while assisting with marketing to increase program membership. Meet efficiency standards and participate in department and facility meetings. Requires current CPR/AED certification, personal training certification, and experience with the senior population. Desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization
- CPR/AED Certification must be current
- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- College graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
- Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
- Previous experience with senior population desirable
- Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
