Job Summary
Develop and maintain membership for Legacy's Wellness Program while performing and documenting LiveFit services for residents. Deliver tailored exercise plans and group fitness sessions to improve health, fitness levels, and meet members' goals. Motivate residents to maintain strength and identify individual fitness objectives in accordance with company policy. Assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase enrollment. Participate in department and facility meetings to maintain efficiency standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Personal training or group fitness certification
- CPR/AED Certification
- Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- College graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
- Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
- Previous experience with senior population desirable
- Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
