Job Summary
As a Personal Financial Representative, you will engage with Members to identify needs and educate them on products and services that will improve their financial wellbeing and quality of life. Build long-term relationships through exceptional Member service, educate on Credit Reviews and Needs Assessments, process and service financial transactions, and contribute to a team focused on compliant, customer-centric banking. Key activities include opening savings/checking/CDs, accepting input for consumer and business loans, conducting wire transfers, providing notary services, recommending solutions, and maintaining regulatory compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC and Fair Lending standards. Strong communication, bilingual fluency (English/Spanish), and ability to operate in a fast-paced financial services environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- English/Spanish bilingual
- Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated success selling products within a financial services industry or retail banking environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience
- Minimum of one (1) year working in a team environment
- Advanced knowledge of current local, state, and federal regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- Credit Union experience (Preferred)
- Series 6, 63, and/or Texas Life and Health Insurance licenses (Preferred)
- Registered NMLS (Preferred)
- Investment license (Preferred)
- Consumer lending experience (Preferred)
- General knowledge of applicable financial industry regulations (Preferred)
- Military experience (Preferred)
- Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30, Sat 9-2 (Not a constraint)
