Job Summary
Serving as the face of the credit union, you act as a traditional teller with personal banking skills to assist members in meeting their financial needs. You sell and cross-sell products and services to achieve sales goals while completing account transactions as requested. You maintain working knowledge of all products to attract loyal members, organize member documents and status, and accurately process account paperwork. You assist with loan applications by interviewing consumers and discussing and processing applications in accordance with guidelines. You pair sales skills with a service mindset, proactively selling products while interacting positively with co-workers, management, and the public. This full-time role includes a 40-hour week from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday and/or 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of successful sales and customer service experience
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers, management, and the public
- Ability to pair sales skills with a service mindset
- Willingness to proactively sell our products and services
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management
- Detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008
