Personal Financial Counselor - Seymour Johnson AFB, Goldsboro, NC

Provide on-base personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at Seymour Johnson AFB. Deliver comprehensive financial counseling across one-on-one sessions, including planning, education, and referrals; conduct briefings and presentations; develop and provide informational financial materials for various life events (e.g., arrival at new duty station, pre/post-deployment); coordinate with installation leadership and POCs to ensure services stay within scope; utilize virtual counseling methods (web-based, secure chat, video teleconferencing) as authorized; respond to age-appropriate class requests; adhere to DoD protocols (e.g., duty-to-warn) and participate in supervision, training, and quality improvement activities; support a range of classes/workshops on the military lifecycle and events; maintain required certifications (AFC, CFP, or ChFC) and meet OCI and security requirements; bilingual capability may be required; highlight the organization’s commitment to equal opportunity and security requirements.
