Job Summary
Provide personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families, including one-on-one counseling, education, and financial workshops. Collaborate with military point of contacts to ensure program effectiveness and develop educational materials. Must possess relevant experience and a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, and required certifications. Responsibilities include managing financial counseling sessions, virtual consultations, and complying with Department of Defense protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of financial counseling experience
- U.S. citizenship
- Fluency in English
- One of the following certifications: AFC, CFP, or ChFC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in financial counseling
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (if required)
- Experience in conducting workshops or classes
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation
- Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process
