Job Summary
Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families at military installations, including one-on-one counseling, briefings and presentations, and referrals. Develop spending plans for extended absences; create and disseminate informational financial materials; coordinate with installation leadership and POCs to ensure program scope and needs are met. Deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle (arrival, pre/post-deployment, etc.). Utilize virtual counseling and secure online communications as needed; address duty-to-warn protocols per DoD guidelines; participate in regular supervision and quality-improvement activities; perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of financial counseling experience
- U.S. citizen
- Fluent English
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (if required by contract)
- AFC or CFP or ChFC certifications
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation
- Must be able to pass OCI process
