Job Summary
Provide personal financial counseling to service members and their families at assigned military installations. Responsibilities include one-on-one counseling, conducting briefings and presentations, offering referral resources, coordinating with installation POCs, developing spending plans for extended absences, creating financial materials, and expanding DoDI 1322.34–aligned classes/workshops. Utilize virtual counseling and other secure communication methods as authorized, participate in supervision and quality improvement activities, and perform duties as assigned with DoD protocol in mind.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of financial counseling experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent English
- If required, bilingual in English and Spanish
- Certification options: AFC, CFP, or ChFC
