Personal Financial Counselor; Detroit, MI

Provide personal financial counseling and management services to military service members and their families at assigned installations. Deliver one-on-one counseling, conduct briefings and presentations, and develop financial materials; coordinate with installation Points of Contact to ensure program scope meets installation needs; assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences; offer financial education classes/workshops across the military lifecycle; utilize virtual counseling and secure teleconferencing as needed; respond to requests for age-appropriate seminars; participate in supervision and contract activities; perform other duties as assigned. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination), 3+ years of financial counseling, U.S. citizenship, fluency in English (and bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract), and professional certifications AFC/CFP/ChFC. Must be able to obtain Tier 2 investigation and comply with OCI processes; valid in-state Driver License; and comply with security and contractual requirements.
