Job Summary
Provide personal financial counseling services at military installations for service members and families, including one-on-one counseling, briefings/presentations, and referrals; develop spending plans for extended absences; coordinate and publicize a range of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle; deliver virtual counseling when authorized; collaborate with installation leadership and POCs, and follow DoD protocols and security requirements; utilize various communication modes (web, secure online chat, video teleconference) for counseling; participate in ongoing supervision, training, and quality improvement activities; ensure materials and services meet installation needs and DoD scope; require AFC/CFP/ChFC certification or equivalent combination of education and experience, and the ability to obtain required investigations and OCI disclosures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher required
- 3+ years of financial counseling experience
- U.S. citizenship
- english fluency (spanish bilingual preferred by contract)
- one of AFC/CFP/ChFC certification
- ability to obtain favorable adjudicated Tier 2 investigation
- ability to pass Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for OCI process

- Must be able to obtain Tier 2 investigation
- If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must meet OCI disclosure requirements
