Job Summary
As a Personal Finance Advisor at Desjardins, you will develop and maintain lasting relationships with members and clients, listening to their needs and offering advice on investments, loans and insurance to meet financial goals. You’ll manage business relationships, assess satisfaction, and follow up for continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, participate in outreach activities, and represent the caisse in the community. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to balance client satisfaction with business objectives, profitability, and prudent risk management, with hybrid work arrangements and occasional evening hours. The position is located in Vaudreuil-Dorion or Rigaud, QC, Canada, and involves collaboration with partners to design integrated strategies for members and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of current financial, economic, political and legislative events
- Notions of debt management / debt management
- Notions of compliance with legislation respecting the distribution of financial products and services
- Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives
- Policies, legislation and standards related to products and services offered by the caisse Desjardins business processes
- Service standards
- Techniques used to assess and monitor individual financing applications
- Available to work one evening per week until 8:00 p.m.
