Job Summary
Prepare meals and manage food safety for an adult woman living with mental health challenges in Central Ottawa. Ensure client safety and well-being while adapting to specific dietary preferences and trauma-informed needs. Maintain high attentiveness throughout the 7.5 to 12.5 weekly hours at a rate of $28/hour. Possess valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification, a smartphone with data, and a recent Vulnerable Sector Check. Bring post-secondary education or strong personal experience, plus demonstrated meal preparation competency and experience working with individuals living with trauma or PTSD.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Smartphone with a data plan
- Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
- Meal preparation experience & competency in this area
- Post Secondary education or strong personal experience
- High sense of awareness & attention to detail
- Experience working with individuals living with Trauma/PTSD (Mental health)
