Job Summary
As a Personal Carer, you’ll provide in-home care to clients in the community, supporting daily living tasks such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing, and assisting with transportation to appointments and shopping. You’ll work on scheduled visits, build meaningful relationships, follow individual care plans, support community-based activities, and help clients maintain independence and quality of life while traveling between client homes. You will be part of a not-for-profit provider delivering compassionate, inclusive care with a focus on safety and client wellbeing; a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
- Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
