Job Summary
Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility transfers using appropriate techniques. Assist clients with meals, hydration, and personal appearance while maintaining a clean environment through light housekeeping. Offer companionship and emotional support, observe health or behavior changes, and collaborate with nurses and allied health professionals. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote wellbeing. Hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, a valid driver's licence, and a current National Police Check. Work flexible shifts of minimum two hours with travel cost coverage and fuel allowance. Submit applications via Seek.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Must have work rights in Australia
- Reliability, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic
- A desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veteran clients
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Amenable to work shifting schedule (morning/night shifts)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in personal care or aged care (preferred but not essential)
