Job Summary
Provide direct support to residents by promoting personal growth and assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, transferring, and dressing. Plan and prepare meals, maintain a clean home environment through laundry and cleaning, and pass medications accurately. Accompany residents into the community for recreational activities and doctor appointments while providing problem-solving assistance and companionship. Maintain records and documentation, participate in scheduled trainings and meetings, and comply with HIPAA privacy standards. Work weekends every other Saturday and Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to satisfy the post-offer requirements (i.e., Wisconsin Caregiver Background, medical screenings, and pre-employment drug screening)
- Must be able to work weekends (every other Saturday and Sunday is required)
- Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 50 lbs. while avoiding potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents
