Job Summary
Personal Care Specialist in cannabis retail providing one-on-one interactions with patients/customers in a dispensary setting. Responsibilities include educating customers on products and consumption methods, recommending safe regimens based on individual needs, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting management to run store operations smoothly, stocking and maintaining the sales floor, operating the POS system, handling front-of-house and back-of-house duties, and upholding safety and security procedures. Skills include excellent customer service, strong communication, ability to learn about cannabis products and therapies, relationship-building, and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
- Prior cannabis experience not required
