Job Summary
Personal Care Specialist engages one-on-one with patients/customers in a cannabis retail dispensary. Responsibilities include customer-facing interactions, educating patients on products, consumption methods, and safety; recommending safe regimens based on individual needs; maintaining up-to-date product knowledge; promoting a positive, patient-focused environment; verifying order deliveries for accuracy; supporting store operations and compliance with local/state cannabis regulations; ensuring proper stocking and presentation of the sales floor; maintaining files and following security and safety procedures; performing front-of-house duties (check-in, POS, curbside, in-store) and back-of-house duties (fulfillment, receiving, inventory, replenishment); contributing to cleanliness, safety, and HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information; and contributing to overall store performance as determined by management.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
- Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
- Reliable attendance
- Must be 21+ years old
- Background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
- Compliance with all legal or company regulations for cannabis work
- Prior cannabis experience not required
