Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring. Support residents in getting to and from activities and meals, while administering medications as defined by physicians' orders. Record and report residents' eating habits, vital signs, and weight changes daily. Maintain a clean, safe environment, change bed linens, and respond promptly to resident emergencies or location requests. Collaborate with the care team on admissions, transfers, and death procedures, ensuring compliance with Frederick Living's policies and code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Prior experience caring for older adults
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence
- Commitment to person-centered care practices
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work extra hours as needed
- Full Time Evenings- 2:3pm-11:00pm, every other weekend and holiday rotation
