Job Summary
The Personal Care Med Tech position involves providing quality nursing care per Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, including administering and charting medications, obtaining vital signs, and overseeing assigned staff. Candidates must be at least eighteen years of age, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess CPR certification. Completion of necessary training and previous healthcare experience is preferred. Key responsibilities include monitoring health changes and ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR certification required, or willingness to obtain certification
- Completion of DHS Direct Care Training, or ability to complete upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Medication Technician certificate preferred
- Previous healthcare experience and experience administering medications preferred
